This special first aired in 2018, but I didn't see it until 2020. (It's the second of a series of hour-long specials, but it's the first of them that I saw.) I didn't like it as much as the Equestria Girls movies, but it had some good moments.
So, there's this new theme park called Equestria Land, and Rarity gets a job there as a costume designer. Her boss is head of PR for the park, an internet influencer named Vignette Valencia, whose phone somehow becomes magical. So when she uses it to take pictures of anything or anyone, they disappear, and she can create holographic images of them. She eventually starts using this on Rarity's friends, whom she wants to perform as the Rainbooms in the parade that will be happening on the first night the park is open. But she wants to change their image to her liking, which her magical phone lets her do. Meanwhile, Rarity is seriously stressing out over her job, and Applejack is jealous of Rarity's new friendship with Vignette. And, I dunno, a bunch of stuff happens, and of course there's ultimately a happy ending. I don't know what else to say.
