Intro: A few weeks before the episode premiered, a "teaser" was released that contained part of this year's intro. When Homer goes to vote for president, a long list of bad things about Donald Trump scrolls before Homer's eyes. There's more to the intro, but that's the important bit.
Toy Gory: In a CGI parody of Toy Story, Bart tortures his toys, and they eventually get revenge. It was an okay segment.
Into the Homer-Verse: In a parody of Into the Spider-Verse, Homer messes with a machine that brings alternate versions of himself from other universes into his universe. It was an okay segment.
Be Nine, Rewind: On Lisa's ninth birthday, she dies, then wakes up again on the same day. This repeats a bunch of times in various ways, and it turns out Nelson is also experiencing the rewinds, so they try to work together to stop it. There are several similar situations in other movies mentioned by Comic Book Guy, like Happy Death Day, but I think the most apt reference was Edge of Tomorrow. Anyway, it was a decent segment.
No Kang and Kodos this year. Sigh.
