Treehouse of Horror XXXV (Season 36; Nov. 3, 2024)
Halloween Specials Wiki; IMDb; Simpsons Wiki; TV Tropes; Wikipedia

Intro: A Day of the Dead-style montage created by Jorge R. Gutierrez. Not bad, but a bit too frenetic for my taste; I couldn't really focus on any one thing. Though Kang & Kodos make an appearance at the end.

The Information Rage: In a parody of Pacific Rim, Springfieldians' political rage causes two giant monsters (one red and one blue) to start attacking the city, each destroying things their respective political parties hate. Eventually, Professor Frink designs a giant robot to fight the monsters, and it has to be piloted by Bart and Lisa. I liked it.

The Fall of the House of Monty: In a parody of Winchester (which I haven't seen and know nothing about), set in the Victorian era, Mr. Burns makes a deal with his employees at Thanksgiving dinner, based on the pull of a wishbone, and loses. But he refuses to honor the deal. Later, all his employees die and come back as ghosts to haunt him. I liked it.

Denim: In a parody of the Venom movies/comic book character, a pair of sentient alien jeans bonds with Homer. (The jeans looked like they were animated in stop-motion, which was a neat touch.) I liked it.

Over the closing credits, there was a series of still images showing scenes from throughout the episode, in the same style as the intro. Overall, the episode wasn't particularly memorable, but I thought all three segments were entertaining enough.
