This is, like, a reality show, I guess. But I don't watch reality shows, so... might as well put it on the superheroes page, I guess. Anyway, I'm not even sure I believe it really is a reality show (not that I think any "reality" shows have much to do with reality). But a lot of stuff that happened seemed terribly scripted, to me (and by "terribly," I mean both "very" and "badly"). Still, as ridiculous and cheesy and unbelievable as the whole thing was, it was also fairly amusing. And there was a surprise at one point in the middle of the series, which made it seem more interesting. (Though it also made it seem more scripted, and the promise of the twist didn't pay off as well as I expected it to.)

Anyway... the premise of the show is that this bunch of freaks wear really silly costumes to be these ridiculous comic book superheroes they've invented. They all face a series of challenges (and, naturally, eliminations), and the whole thing is presided over by legendary comic book creator Stan Lee. The last one remaining at the end will have his or her character made into a real comic book by Dark Horse (which is odd, considering Stan's a Marvel guy). Well, I dunno what else to say. I don't feel like listing the various "superheroes," and I certainly won't tell you who won, though it was the one I'd been predicting since fairly early on. (Though I'm not sure, looking back, what I mean by "early on," in a series that only had 6 episodes.)

There was also a second season, which I didn't bother to watch.
