Eyes of Wakanda, on Disney+
Disney Wiki; IMDb; Marvel; MCU Wiki; On Disney+; Proximity; TV Tango; TV Tropes; Wikipedia

This is the first web series of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is set at different points in world history, and follows the missions of various Wakandan "War Dogs" (aka Hatut Zaraze). It has an incredible animation style; the CGI is designed to resemble hand-painted artwork. The stories are great, the action scenes are fantastic, and the voice acting is also very good. (Though I will say I'm surprised at some of the technology Wakandans possessed even in ancient times. There's an effort to make it appear more primitive than modern Wakandan technology, but still... it's most impressive.) Some sites call it a miniseries, but I don't really think of it that way, mainly because it's an anthology series, rather than a single ongoing story. Also, I'm not certain that it won't get another season. I certainly hope it does, because four episodes really isn't enough for a show this good, and there's a virtually unlimited potential for new stories to be told throughout history.

Into the Lion's Den
In 1260 BC, a former Dora Milaje named Noni is sent on a mission to track down and capture a rogue War Dog named Nkati, who now calls himself "the Lion". He intends to create his own nation with people he's captured from all over the world, using Wakandan technology, and must be stopped. After the mission, Noni becomes a War Dog, herself.

Legends and Lies
In 1200 BC, during the Trojan War, a War Dog named B'Kai has assumed the alias "Memnon", and fights alongside his Greek friend Achilles against the Trojans. But his real mission is to retrieve a Wakandan artifact, which leads to a fight between Achilles and himself.

Lost and Found
In 1400 AD, a War Dog named Basha has infiltrated K'un-Lun, to steal back a Wakandan artifact that had been stolen from Wakanda long ago. He retrieves it and returns home, but is followed by a mysterious warrior who believes the artifact had always belonged to her people, and is determined to get it back.

The Last Panther
In 1896 AD, in Ethiopia, a Wakandan prince named Tafari tags along with a seasoned War Dog named Kuda on a mission to retrieve an artifact. When Kuda deems the mission too dangerous to continue, due to the war going on between Ethiopians and Italians, Tafari disobeys his orders and goes after the artifact, anyway. He obtains it, and the two of them leave the city, but are confronted by a most surprising adversary, the nature of which I won't spoil. But what she tells them completely alters their mission.

Well, all four stories were really cool, and epic, and a very welcome look at just a few pieces of the history of the War Dogs, as well as a look at history in general, and some tie-ins to other Marvel stories. And the characters in each of the stories were very well fleshed-out and compelling. All in all, it's just an amazing series, and I must reiterate how much I hope this isn't the end.
