A woman named Micah runs cage matches between captured monsters from the Crypt Monster Universe, and captured humans who are believed to be metaphorical monsters because of heinous acts they've committed. Two of Micah's employees, Porter and Erica, are sent to capture a woman who is believed to have killed her newborn baby, but Porter believes she's innocent, and lets her go. Micah finds out about this, and puts Porter in a cage with a monster called Colossus. But Porter helps Colossus escape, and they leave together. Also, Porter believes two of his relatives were wrongfully murdered by the Sunny Family Cult, and wants to seek revenge against them. At the end of the second episode of "Fight Night," he meets Taylor, though it seems like a coincidence, and he has no idea who she is. (Though I suspect it might not have been a coincidence that they met; we'll have to wait for either another season of Fight Night or another season of Sunny Family Cult to find out for sure.)
