This began as a short film in 2017, with four more episodes being produced in 2019. In the original short, a nurse witnesses the death of an old man, who later that night shows up and kills her. The rest of the series is set at the same hospital, but it's not much like the original short. There's another nurse, Alice, whose son had been killed by a monster some time ago. And on her first day working in the hospital, a man dies... but it's not him who later comes back. Instead, it's the adult son of a doctor named Kane, who had injected his son, Norman, with a serum to help him fight to live through whatever illness was killing him. Norman died, but later comes back as a monster that starts killing people in the hospital. And Alice is determined to stop him. That's all I want to say about that, except that that Dr. Kane had learned of the serum in a "tome" which is obviously connected to various other series from the Crypt Monster Universe. Anyway... I thought this series was fairly decent, but I think it could be better if it had more than one season.
