In 2007, in the town of Mohawk, an abusive husband and father is killed by... I guess some kind of vengeful spirit, or whatever. In 2018, a new family moves into the house where this happened. The family includes a boy who seems sort of autistic, who apparently befriends the spirit. This turns out to be bad news for his sister and parents. I dunno, nothing is very clear about the plot, and I'm particularly disappointed that we don't get to know any backstory about the spirit.
