Stereoscope: "Viewmaster" (3:32)
Crypt TV Wiki; Facebook; IMDb; YouTube
A woman with a new baby receives a delivery, an old Viewmaster with a disk of slides and a mysterious note. Every time she flips the disk to the next slide, she sees a different horrific sight, within her home. (So it's kind of like augmented reality, I guess.) I don't know what else to say, except that it's genuinely terrifying.

Stereoscope, on Facebook Watch

This 2020 webseries is based on the 2017 short film. A man named Lewis Thomas is apparently dead. His daughter, Callie, goes through his things and finds a stereoscope. Each slide on the disc shows a parallel world, and if you click on it while looking at someone, that person will be transported to whatever world the disc was set on. Multiple people can be transported if they're touching each other, including the one using the stereoscope. It turns out that Lewis isn't actually dead, he's just in an alternate world. Callie wants to find him, and gets some help from a guy named Drew, who has met at least a couple versions of Lewis from different worlds. Meanwhile, Callie's mother, Rae, doesn't believe any of this, at least not for most of the series. But she has seen things that make her worry about her sanity. Lewis's sister, Meghan, is also worried about that, and thinks Callie should come live with her. Oh, and there's a monster called the Reek, which terrorizes Callie, Lewis, and Rae. It lives somewhere between worlds, and whenever someone uses the stereoscope, the veil between worlds is lifted, so the Reek can come through and attack. Also, there's a limited number of times the stereoscope can be used in each world before the veil breaks down and the Reek can get there whenever it wants, I guess.
I won't say how the Thomases' story ends; in fact there's some ambiguity to it. But I guess the whole thing was reasonably interesting and scary. And after the closing credits there's a scene that is roughly the first 30 seconds of the original short film.
