DUST, on YouTube
Facebook; Gunpowder & Sky; IMDb; WatchDust.com; WatchDust.tv; YouTube
This is a YouTube and Facebook channel (but I only watch it on YouTube) with a bunch of science fiction short films. (Well, mostly SF, but some shorts may be horror, or fantasy, or supernatural, or not particularly genre at all.) It's the sister channel of Alter. I had seen some of these shorts before I really became aware of the channel, but eventually I decided I should start checking out all their videos (some of which are Dust "originals" or "exclusives," though I think most are just "presented by" Dust; those labeled as "exclusive" at the time I watch them may not remain exclusive to the channel indefinitely). Anyway, I don't expect to review or even list every short film on the channel, here, just the ones I particularly like (or have some other particular reason to mention). I feel like I should at least include all the originals and exclusives, but... I've found that some of them I just don't care about enough, so I won't. And I feel kind of bad about that.
Note 1: At least a couple videos, that I know of (maybe more), have disappeared from Dust's YouTube channel since I watched them there, but I'll still keep my reviews of anything that was on Dust.
Note 2: For most of the time I've been watching videos on Dust, I was able to find pages for them on watchdust.com, and linked to them in my reviews. But eventually I couldn't find the newer videos there (though the links to old films still worked), so I started linking to pages on watchdust.tv instead, because that actually has a search engine I could use. The links I previously had as "Dust" in my reviews now say either "Dust.com" or "Dust.tv", but it's important to remember those are not the complete addresses. I've left off the "watch" part of the URLs.
