Atropa, on Studio+ and YouTube
Corridor Productions; Dust.tv; IMDb; YouTube
This series was made in 2016, and was first released in 2018 via a phone app. (I think it was originally supposed to be on Vimeo, but that fell through.) Its first web release was in 2021, when it was acquired by Dust.
Detective Cole Freeman searches for a space ship that went missing some time ago, called Atropa. He finds it, sooner than expected, and revives the crew from suspended animation. They include his wife, Moira Williams, as well as Captain Robert McKay, Jacob Sanders, and Andrew Jensen. Soon after that, the Atropa collides with... the Atropa. The second ship is destroyed, while the original is critically damaged. Everyone is baffled at first, but they eventually discover that they are in an anomaly that causes them to move backwards in time. And things just get more complicated from there. I'm not sure how much sense the series actually made, but I didn't have a hard time suspending disbelief to just enjoy the story. Anyway, I don't want to spoil any more details, though I will say there's a flashback episode in the middle of the series, featuring Michael Ironside as Captain Schreiber. There are seven episodes, ranging from around 9 to 14 minutes each. It's a well made series, and definitely worth watching.
