Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast) has taken control of the Evil Queen's castle and magic mirror (from Snow White). He's also kidnapped King Triton (from The Little Mermaid). He's trying to obtain Triton's trident, which is apparently stuck in stone or something, and makes a deal with Triton. Five heroines are summoned to take on three challenges. They include Triton's daughter, Ariel, as well as Snow White, Tiana (from The Princess and the Frog), Rapunzel (from Tangled), and Moana (from Moana). (And all except Snow White are voiced by the actresses from their respective movies. Gaston is also voiced by his original voice actor.) If they can win the challenges, Triton will go free, but if they lose, Gaston gets his trident, and control of all the lands as well as the oceans.

I don't want to spoil any details of the challenges or anything, but of course the heroines win in the end. There are also some characters from other Disney movies. And... I dunno what else to say. The special is obviously aimed at kids, but I think it's something that could be enjoyed by people of any age. There's some humor, and adventure, just about anything you could ask for from a Disney fantasy movie. (Well, no romance, but that's not important. There's plenty of friendship, though.) It's just a fun story.
