While the rest of the Muppets have a Halloween party, Gonzo and Pepe take a challenge to survive the night in a haunted mansion where a famous magician named MacGuffin disappeared 100 years ago. They're driven to the mansion by a limo driver played by Yvette Nicole Brown. They meet a caretaker played by Darren Criss. Their host at the mansion is played by Will Arnett. Gonzo hopes to be scared by the experience, but doesn't believe he will be, because he thinks he has no fears. Ultimately, he will have to face his greatest fears in order to escape the mansion. Meanwhile, Pepe starts out thinking it's supposed to be a party full of famous people, but the only one he meets is John Stamos. He ends up being scared by just about everything in the mansion, and wants to leave... at least until he falls prey to the charms of a murderous bride (Taraji P. Henson).

Well, there are plenty of cool-looking ghosts (most of them Muppets). And there are a few songs, though I don't think of the special as a musical. And I'm not sure what else to say. It was all reasonably fun, I guess, but I didn't like it as much as I hoped I might. But I did like it.
