Family Guy: Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Cheater, on Hulu

This Hulu special is an episode of the TV series Family Guy. It premiered on October 14, 2024. (I'm not sure if it's going to also air on TV or not, and I don't particularly care, since I stopped watching the series some years ago. But I thought I might as well check out the special online, anyway.) It was okay. I mean, I liked it well enough, but it doesn't make me want to go back to watching the show, or anything.
So, there are two plots going on. In one, Joe has grown a giant pumpkin that he wants to enter in the annual Quahog pumpkin contest, which he always loses to a guy named Patrick McCloskey. Peter, Cleveland, and Quagmire decide to play a joke on Joe by hiding his pumpkin, but accidentally smash it. So Peter decides to conceal himself within what's left of the pumpkin, keeping it upright and I guess using his weight to replace the weight of the lost pumpkin guts. And that's all I want to say about that.
In the other plot, Stewie wants to dress up with Brian as Sonny and Cher to go trick-or-treating, but Brian doesn't want to do it. So Stewie goes all Frankenstein and brings his teddy bear, Rupert, to life, so he can dress as Sonny while Stewie dresses as Cher. (Rupert is voiced by Derek Jacobi.) At first, Stewie believes his experiment failed, and he tells Rupert that he wants Brian dead. When it turns out Rupert is alive, and heard what Stewie said, Rupert is intent on killing Brian, and Stewie is desperate to stop him. And that's all I want to say about that.
It was a reasonably amusing special, I guess, but not something I would have any interest in ever seeing again.
