This was originally released on Netflix in 2015-2018, but since I don't get that service, I wasn't able to see it until it moved to Disney+ in 2022.

Season One
Okay, there's a lot going on here, and I'm not going to reveal much of it, so I'm going to feel somewhat remiss. First of all, the show takes place in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City. There's a lawyer named Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), who was blinded when he was a young boy, but since then his other senses have developed enough that in a certain sense, he can see. And he can use his senses for considerably more than that. He's also trained hard to become an excellent fighter, and becomes a mask-wearing vigilante. People who are aware of the vigilante's existence call him by names such as "the man in black", "the man in the mask", or "the devil of Hell's Kitchen". In the course of his activities, he learns that the man behind much of the crime in Hell's Kitchen is named Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio). Meanwhile, Matt has recently started a small law firm called Nelson & Murdock with his best friend, Franklin "Foggy" Nelson, who has no idea Matt is the vigilante. They defend a woman named Karen Page, who begins working for them at their office. She continues investigating a case she had gotten caught up in, and works on the story with a newspaper reporter named Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall). Some other major characters include an art gallery curator named Vanessa Marianna, who becomes romantically involved with Fisk; James Wesley, Fisk's right-hand man; Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), a nurse who sometimes tends to Matt's injuries after his fights as a vigilante; and Leland Owlsley, a financier who works with Fisk and other crime bosses, including a Chinese woman named Gao, a Japanese man named Nobu Yoshioka, and Russian brothers named Vladimir and Anatoly Ranskahov.

I don't want to spoil any details of the plot, but in general, Matt tries to take down Fisk both as a vigilante and as a lawyer, with help from Foggy and Karen (and eventually from Foggy's ex-girlfriend, Marci Stahl, a lawyer who works for a firm that represents Fisk). Like I said, a lot happens. And I'm leaving out lots of minor characters who are important to the plot. And there are flashbacks to both Matt and Fisk's childhoods. And... it's a very gritty, dramatic series, with cool fight scenes, great character development, and... I'm not sure what else to say, except that I like the show a lot. I suppose I must spoil the fact that at the end of the season, Fisk's criminal activities are exposed, and he is arrested by the FBI, so there will be a new threat for Matt to face next season. Also, Matt eventually gets an actual costume made of a special body armor, and the press starts calling the vigilante "Daredevil".
